Meet Brody and Cristina... The outdoors have always been a passion for us. We live, work and fell in love on Maurelle Island. Since we started our partnership in 2000 it has been our dream to bring people to this place we love so much. In the hustle and bustle of modern life we see a lack of connection with the natural world. Go With The Flow Adventures embodies our passion for the wilderness and our commitment to bring others back to the land.

 

Brody Wilson Born and raised on Maurelle Island Brody has always maintained a deep connection with the island lifestyle. He began Guiding in the eco tourism industry at the age of 18 and found a passion for bringing others into the natural environment. Over the last 10 years Brody has developed his skill to the point where he is teaching the outdoor leadership program for Capallano College, specializing in kayaking and outdoor survival skills with training in Wilderness First Aid. Brody has intimate knowledge of the flora and fauna,native history, wild foods, trails and waterways of the local area.

 

Cristina Fox Cristina came to the west coast in 1995 from the suburbs of Ontario. She moved to a small island in the Discovery islands to live off the land. Here she learned her hard skills through trail and error. Through years of simple living she picked up her intimate knowledge of the natural environment. Cristina then pursued a career in Eco tourism completing a comprehensive outdoor leadership course and Wilderness First Aid Training. She worked for various companies on Quadra Island and for a season on the South Island of New Zealand as a kayak guide. With her guiding experience, passion for entertaining and meeting new people creating Go With The Flow Adventures was the natural next step on her life path.

 

Journey... The camp dog who truly lives up to his name. Journey is a cheerful Labrador Retriever/ Shepard cross who is always up for an adventure. He keeps an eye on the camp and loves a game of fetch. He is a very friendly companion but if you have any particular fear of animals please let us know.
