Kayaking tour with two unique luxury base camp!
The Luxury Lodge to Lodge tour combines the adventure of an expedition style kayaking trip with the comfort of lodge accommodation. The trip begins with Solstua West on the scenic Rendezvous islands. Enjoy expansive mountain views as we explore this island paradise. Spend the day paddling around these small islands passing by multicoloured sea stars, harbour seals with their pups and keep a look out for a pod of transient Orca whales. Stop for a fresh shore lunch and time to explore the South Rendezvous Marine Park. After a day on the water sit and enjoy a cool drink and watch the sunset over the Coast Mountains.
From here our route takes us through the White Rock Pass Historic Site and Surge Narrows Marine Park to the Go With The Flow Luxury Base Camp on Maurelle Island. Settle in to your cozy cabin accommodation and soak away the day's paddle in our wood-fired cedar hot tub. We continue our adventure to the Octopus Island Marine Park and finish the tour with a forest walk and a swim in Village Bay Lakes Provincial Park. The package includes accommodation, gourmet meals with wine, hot showers, cedar wood-fired hot tub, all kayaking equipment and guiding.
This trip is suitable for beginners with no experience necessary to participate. We start with an onshore lesson introducing sea kayak technique and safety. Each group in accompanied by two certified sea kayak guides with a maximum of 8 guests. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent standard of instruction and guiding and are always ready to help you with technique on and off the water. We offer top of the line equipment including kevlar and fibreglass single or double kayaks.
