The Luxury Base Camp Tour offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Journey to our remote base camp located on Maurelle Island in the Discovery islands. This wilderness island is surrounded by emerald green waters and offers some of the finest paddling in the world. Our central location allows us to explore three unique provincial marine parks and return to our luxury base camp each evening. Enjoy a fresh shore lunch at a different scenic location each day. Relax after a day of adventure with our cedar wood fired hot tub, hot showers, hammocks and your private cozy cabin accommodation. Gourmet meals with wine are served each evening on our seaside patio overlooking the islands of the Surge Narrows Marine Park.

There is no experience necessary to participate. The Discovery Islands offer some of the most calm and sheltered waters on the British Columbia coast. We start each tour with an onshore introduction to sea kayaking technique and safety. Two certified sea kayak guides are dedicated to each group with a max number of eight guests. We provide first class instruction and are always happy to help with your technique on and off the water. Each guest is provided with top of the line equipment including fibre glass and kevlar single or double sea kayaks.
